Arisaema fargesii

A spectacular arisaema in flower and leaf, of immense proportions, over 2' tall and wide. Arising in summer, the giant, trifoliate, tropical looking leaves cover up the maroon and white striped flaring pitcher with a long, pinched spathe tip. This arisaema is quick to offset and making imposing clumps over time. Easy and better with age. Prefers a sunnier sighting and drier soil conditions. Section Franchetiana. Hardy in zones 5-10.
