Double flowering, gorgeous pastel green blooms on our native rue anemone. Best in gritty, well draining, humus-rich woodland soil. Anemonellas although easy to grow do not compete well with large sized perennials. Best grown in the raised rock garden bed or woodland bed. Given adequate moisture ours have bloomed off and on during the summer. Tubers are naturally small and look like miniature dahlia roots… to us. On a related note, any piece of the root can be removed to start a new plant. Zones 4a-8b
