Anemonella thalictroides Green Hurricane

Unusual (probably the most unusual) of the dwarf native rue anemones. The anthers look like a white whorl and provide an usual display. The flower bracts are green lending to the name. Honestly, its very unusual but beautiful at the same time. It grows on you. The clump can be about 6″ in height and has wonderful thalictrum foliage providing a wonderful backdrop for the floral display. Rock gardens, mini hosta bed, woodland garden, find it a special place. Tubers are naturally small and look like miniature dahlia roots… to us. On a related note, any piece of the root can be removed to start a new plant. Hardy to zone 4
