Anemonella thalictroides Shiozaki

Fabulous North American native dwarf rue anemone that is color-wise between ‘Shoaf’s Double Pink’ and ‘Cameo’. Another color of these wonderful jewels is fine with us. Same attributes as the above mentioned. Up to 6″ in height, gritty well drained woodland soil, light shade, it is ephemeral and will go summer dormant. They clump up well over time. As a side note, they need a bit of looking after when establishing. Dote on them a bit and do not place next to overly aggressive neighbors. Tubers are naturally small and look like miniature dahlia roots… to us. On a related note, any piece of the root can be removed to start a new plant. Zone 4.
