Anemonella thalictroides Shoaf's Double Pink

(rue anemone or windflower) Delicate U.S. woodland native, despite it’s fragile appearance it is long lived given the right planting conditions. Soil should not be soggy and a little shelter from strong winds. Moist fertile woodland shade setting. This cultivar will have nice rosy pink double blooms making a nice clump over time. Tubers are naturally small and look like miniature dahlia roots… to us. On a related note, any piece of the root can be removed to start a new plant. Hardy Zone 4-8
