Description
Yakushima Dwarf Asilbe Very dwarf form of the species Astilbe glaberrima (which is a bigger plant) that will make a wonderful addition to the damp rock garden bed or trough. Over time this makes a super tight bunch, tiny little leaves with 4″ sprays of light pink flowers. An alpine form of Astilbe glaberrima, found in the mountains of Yakushima in Japan. Being an Astilbe incorporate some peat or moisture retentive material in your planting, as this will be much happier damper than drier. Zone 4-8
