Description

Fusca Japanese Vasevine A small scrambling vine (think through other shrubs) with 1″ nodding urn-shaped dark brown flowers, with a creamy margin, covered with a fuzz (hirsute= hairy). Height to perhaps 6′-7′, it can be hard pruned in winter or early spring as there is little new growth on the existing vine. Bloom time is mid June thru late September. Best in partial shade although it can be grown in considerable sun as long as it is not allowed to dry out. Hardy zones 3-9
