Soft Stripes Lily of the Valley Native to Japan, China, Korea, and Mongolia, Japanese lily of the valley (Convallaria keiskei) is very similar to the European species, but having smaller, thinner leaves. ‘Soft Stripes’, has cream yellow splashed/striped variegation, often with a frosted look. Typical fragrant flowers. Variegation is most prominent on new growth. Hardy in Zones 5 to 9, at least.
