Two-Lobed False Hydrangea We’ve grown and offered the blue form (Deinanthe caerulea) of this here at the nursery but this year we have the white flowering form. Unusual herbaceous Japanese plant related to hydrangea that forms clumps of beautiful textured foliage with two lobes at the tip of each leaf. Early in the year white flowers emerge above the foliage. Fairly slow growing, although in a damp area can grow quicker. Will eventually form 3′ wide clumps. Do not let it dry out to much, as like a hydrangea, they appreciate consistant moisture at the root. A wonderful addition to the shade garden. Zones 4-8
