Skeleton Flower We have been growing this Japanese woodlander here at the nursey for years and now have it available for sale, which makes us happy. A relative of mayapples, this is the Asian equivalent of our native Diphylleia cymosa, and would be happy in the same conditions. Cultivate in humus rich, moist soil. Large peltate leaves and clusers of white flowers in spring, followed by blue fruit on red stems in fall. One other thing… we find these to be slow, as in very slow. Give it years to develop into a clump. They seem to take time to settle in and then in coming years develop size. Hardy zone 4-8
