F. Williams/C. Williams Large Perhaps the best known of all the hosta cultivars. Heavily corrugated leaves are circled by a wide yellow margin. White flowers in early summer. A H. sieboldiana ‘Elegans’ sport. I saw a mature ‘Francis Williams’ hosta in St. Louis that was as big as my dinning room table. Needs more water than most people think. My hosta plants are not field cut OS, they are TC from shady oaks.
