Our dear garden friends, Mike & Anne Randall were nice enough to share this Snowdrop with us…. years ago, and we have been propagating it so now have it available. ‘Colossus’ is a tall and vigorous selection of Galanthus plicatus var. plicatus that very often produces atwo flowering scapes per bulb, when established (pushing a second after the first). The broad foliage is in proportion to the tall flower scapes and is somewhat plicate (folder, tucked or pleated). We have found ‘Colossus’ to be very vigorous. The outer petals are pure white, inner have a small green mark with fading green above. These are available as one bulb per order. They have been potted up and are currently in bloom. We grow many Snowdrops and have decided to start propagation of them so look for more from us in the coming years.
