These are 3 year old cuttings. ‘Ai-Hime’, (Indigo Princess) is a wonderful lacecap Mountain hydrangea that will be about 3′ high and wide over time. There are serrated edges on the green leaves with a golden cast and the newly emerging leaves have a red cast to them. Flowers are a lacecap style with has deep blue lacecaps on red stems atop. Soil ph can greatly affect the color of the blooms. Mountain hydrangeas are easily pruned to the desired shape, but by nature are small shrubs. Zones 5-9
