(Golden Green Dragon) Similar in appearance to the look of Arisaema, this form of Green Dragon has golden, glowing trifoliate leaves and a slender golden waxy flower. While some forms of Pinellia can be down right thugs, this species is a bit more behaved. Seeding true from seed, it can certainly brighten up a woodland bed with its 2′ tall leaves and jutting skyward spadix. SIte in some morning or part mid-day sun to keep the brassy golden look. It can also take full sun, getting a bit long in the tooth in the afternoon, only to rebound and look fine by evening. Zones 4-9
