Lavender flowers basically sitting right on top of the practically ground level foliage. Maybe a total of 4″ high. From high altitudes so think rock garden siting or soil when planting. Will create probably the cutest Solomon Seal ground cover for the alpine bed. Free draining, gritty, alpine-like soil. Zones 5-9
