Polygonatum odoratum v. maximowczii ‘Fireworks’ is a vigorous and rare selection of Solomon’s seal that has green leaves splashed with creamy white streaks throughout the leaves. The leaves will develop a creamy white border as well, only after the plant is more established. Growing to 2.5-3′ tall in height and having red stems and smallish white flowers in spring rounds out this superb woodlander. As with most variegated woodlanders, it will grow and the vareigation will be better with more sun. Think morning sun (East exposure) if possible, although high filtered bright light will work well also. Really a spectacular plant. Zone 4-9
