(Solberg) A very large hosta with a fast growth rate. It is a green edged sport of ‘Gold Regal’. This hosta is very sun tolerant and has pale lavender flowers that are held atop a 3′ scapes in early summer (flowers are really good on this one). Shape is upright with leaves shingled downward. Another top tier hosta and if you do not grow this, you certainly should. It is certainly one of the best, and it was named for Alex Summers dog, so there you go.
