Smilacina japonica SuiKou

This is the yellow edged form of the Japanese counterpart to our native false Solomon Seal. A woodland perennial to say 20″ or more with a closely packed white flowers that bloom at the end of the stem in spring. In fall there are red fruits followed by dark berries. Quite easy in moist humus-rich woodland soil. Not fussy at all. Will tolerate some sun and for best growth and variegation it will enjoy it. High filtered sun would be perfect. Zones 4-9
