Tricyrtis macropoda, Shiro Shima Fu has 2.5-3 foot tall upright stems (at maturity), with wide leaves that have unstable white streaking, and upright clusters of white flowers with curved back (reflexed) petals. The flowers have purple spots on the top; flowering at both the terminals of the leaves on the stem and at the top of the plant. This toad lilies blooms in the summer, unlike some of the later blooming species of Tricyrtis. Great toad lily! Zones 4-9
